Directions: From the junction of California Highway 20 and Highway 1 in Fort Bragg drive 11.1 miles south to a left turn onto Little River Airport Rd. Follow the road east as it climbs and then levels out. At about 2.8 miles turn left onto the short drive to the Pygmy Forest parking area.
Synopsis: The Pygmy Forest is a short, easy walk on a nicely finished and maintained boardwalk. There are excellent interpretive exhibits and some benches here and there. A nice bonus is that there may be a bit of sun up here when there is none on the coast.

Notes: The parking area is small. Be prepared to find alternate parking on weekends.
Turn by Turn:
-- Upon leaving your car find the trailhead and signboard at the north end of the lot. After a few steps you reach a junction. Either route brings you around the loop and back, just be sure not to get detoured off onto the connector to the Old Logging Rd. trail at the northern apex of the boardwalk.
