The photography and videography opportunities in Yosemite National Park hardly need to be mentioned, much less explained in much detail. There are magnificent sequoias, deep glacial valleys and soaring granite peaks. There are rushing rivers, tall waterfalls, broad cascades, amazing wildlife and botany, and wonderful night skies. This place, as much as any other, is a feast for the eyes, and an image-maker's playground. What's more, if you want to learn how best to capture all of the beauty of Yosemite you can take one of the photography classes offered by the park (for a fee). There's something special about not just looking at a view once caught by Ansel Adams or Galen Rowell, but actually snapping the same shot.
