Anza-Borrego Photos & Video

Anza-Borrego Desert State Park is a sprawling desert/high desert/mountain park that covers a variety of habitats and different terrain. What may at first seem like a mostly lifeless landscape actually offers endless photo and video possibilities once your perspective adjusts to the very small, and very large. Small plants, bugs and other critters abound (which is not to say there is no macrofauna, like the impressive desert bighorn sheep) upon looking under or behind, and fantastic vistas are available once you've gain a high vantage. Wildflower season is a busy time in this park, especially after a winter of heavy rain, with amateur photographers crowding the sandy access roads outside the town of Borrego Springs.
