Bob's impressions: These are fun little bowls. We tried the origami-like plates/bowls and had some issues with them, so we gave these bowls a shot. I like the fact that I can mush them into spaces that would otherwise go unfilled. Eating out of them can be a bit of an adventure, but it's no big deal if you pay attention. The most important thing to realize is that if the contents in the bowl shift you cannot rely upon the structure to retain them, it will deform and spill if things go too far. But that's a small price to pay for the convenience, low weight, and ease of cleaning these silicone bowls provide. For my purposes, the small bowl is too small (I think it's meant as a cup or mug), and so I've put marks on it and use it as a measuring cup and backup container.
Laura's impressions: These bowls seem to work fine. They aren't the most convenient things to eat out of, but then we're not eating at the Ritz. We had some origami-like self-assembly bowls that I never enjoyed at all, so these are a big improvement in that regard.
